Military personnel are ideal potential employees for the energy industry as they can bring a wealth of knowledge from management through to problem solving. They have transferable skills that underpin basic knowledge needed for the energy sector and they are a reliable workforce with the right work ethic needed throughout the industry.

Skills for Energy, along with a network of ex-military in the industry, provide help, support and guidance to service leavers in a variety of formats. This includes working with those that are serving, have left or are leaving the forces.

We’re proud to be a holder of a bronze Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme award, demonstrating our commitment and support to those who serve or have served in the armed forces and their families.
